Saving Daylight Savings..?

It's been around since 1917 and almost every year since then we have been asking the question, "Do we actually need Daylight Savings?"

For some wacky reason Queenslanders have refused to jump on the bandwagon due to their fading curtains... but do we blame them? Whoever came up with the idea obviously did it just to really piss off those who live on the QLD/NSW border. Oh how confusing it must be for them!

Getting back on the topic, what is the point of Daylight Savings? All you do is lose an hour for one weekend and then gain it back a few months later. So what! Some people enjoy the extra hour of daylight in the evening... Well why don't you just plan your day better!?!

You can probably tell by now that some of us are still adjusting... and would have loved that extra hour of sleep last weekend.

interesting. i have heard that it is that daylight savings was created in WWI to get the troops up earlier. I don't know why that we have kept it. I hate adjusting to this bull! idk about u but the blasted sun woke me up on the weekend as it had been for the past few weeks. just get rid of this daylight savings bull and be on with it!
